[Memos in weight and exercise]

I've lost a pound this week which doesn't in the scheme of things sound like a lot to me but it feels like a lot. I loathe exercising. Pretty much in any form. Sure it's fun once or twice but when it becomes a routine it's just a chore. I know the answer is diversifying my exercise routine. That's just not possible or convenient right now. I do try and vary some of the things I do. I always walk on the tread climber because as much as I hate that stupid thing it does work but some days I lift weights and some days I do Wii stuff and some days I I have this exercise ball I'll do things with.

As much as I loathe exercising, I love the way it makes me feel about myself. Part of that is eating better but I think the bigger part of it is exercising because even when I'm eating "unhealthy" it's not ever that bad for a sustained period of time. I've been super good about both the eating and the exercise this week so it's nice that it's paid off even if it is only in one pound.

I graduate on Saturday. Everything has fallen into place for it and so it's actually happening. I've been worried since the very beginning that I'd get down to the last minute and they'd say 'hey! Sorry. You can't graduate'. It doesn't seem like that's going to happen which is awesome.

Lisa and Wyatt are coming down here this evening to see me graduate and to celebrate both my graduation and her birthday. We're going out to eat and then to a cute little martini bar that I love. Outside of that I think it's going to be a lot of chilling out and watching things like Dr Who and chick flicks.

The job front is still bare but apparently that's sort of something people are expecting until like June or July. Right now I'm just happy to be able to relax and read and be finished with school.

All of that being said, I'm thinking about taking a summer fencing class for fun. It's kind of something I've wanted to do for a while. I'm going to look into the classes they have at the community college. I think it would be fun and good exercise AND it goes along with that diversifying my exercise routine that I talked about earlier.

Ya'll have a fantastic weekend.
